Sub Rosa, dentro de sus Early Electronic Series, acaba de publicar este trabajo del aclamado compositor francés Michel Redolfi, editado originalmente junto “Pacific Tubular Waves” en 1988 por INA-GRM. Un año antes recorrió los desiertos de California para grabar sonidos de esos entornos naturales que posteriormente procesó y mezclo con música electrónica. Redolfi comenzó a componer a finales de los sesenta, y durante los ochenta y noventa colaboró con Luc Ferrari, Bernard Parmegiani, Pierre Henry and Jean-Claude Risset. Ha formado parte como investigador en diferentes instituciones de nuevas músicas y residió en EE.UU entre 1973 y 1984, colaborando también con el CME (San Diego) y The California Institute of the Arts . Una parte importante de su música podría clasificarse como “ambient” o paisaje sonoro, aunque procede del mundo académico electro-acústico. También son muy reconocidos sus trabajos realizados para ambientar acuarios. El CD se presenta en digipack de 6 paneles con libreto de textos y fotos
