Reedición, en versión ampliada de doble LP de vinilo, del debut en 1980 del dúo británico Renaldo & The Loaf, publicado originalmente por el sello de The Residents Ralph Records. Con sede en Portsmouth, siguen ahora siendo un enigma mientras acumulan un enorme culto en todo el mundo. Su singular interpretación de la música es original e ingeniosa hasta parecer de otra galaxia, una extraña construcción melódica y una sensibilidad sensacional que los hizo exitosamente atractivos para cada generación emergente. La capacidad de Renaldo & The Loaf para desconcertar y entretener al mismo tiempo es única. Su inspiración más clara es por supuesto The Residents. Songs For Swinging Larvae es una colección de canciones que llevan al oyente a un mundo surrealista de melodías retorcidas y pop pervertido. Songs from the Surgery es el LP bonus y se compone de improvisaciones, primeras versiones alternativas de varios temas del primer álbum y piezas inéditas del mismo período.
