NOTON se complace en anunciar el lanzamiento de Kinder der Sonne, el nuevo álbum de Alva Noto con música compuesta para la partitura de la obra teatral Komplizen de Simon Stone. El título procede de la obra de Maxim Gorky Hijos del Sol, escrita en el contexto de la Revolución Rusa de 1905. Simon Stone escribió la nueva obra para el conjunto Burgtheater basándose en este drama. La música desvela un espacio romántico, trazando un camino sublime con una nueva profundidad de armónicos y un color vibrante. Frases de piano, existentes pero fantasmales, se entrecruzan con sonidos digitales fríos, imponentes y misteriosos a pesar de sus formas tenues. Intrincadamente dispuestas, estas texturas llenan el espacio evocando adecuadamente un flujo, como si hubieran sido concebidas y grabadas en un lento viaje a través del océano. A lo largo de catorce composiciones, Kinder der Sonne de Alva Noto lleva al oyente a un viaje sónico de tensión y liberación emocional, revelando una satisfactoria suite de ambient clásico moderno y minimalista.
