Dais Records publica Algama, el nuevo álbum de Drew McDowall (ex COIL). Se presenta como su disco más litúrgico y menos industrial hasta la fecha. "Es una música majestuosa y misteriosa, pero también moderna", que sale del refinado sistema modular de McDowall, además de otros instrumentos de cuerdas que cambian de forma, piano, órgano de tubos y coros. McDowall, que trabajó en el álbum pensando que se titularía Ritual Music, habla de su práctica creativa en términos ceremoniales. Sus composiciones parecen tanto procesionales como intuitivas, en la encrucijada entre santidad y la alucinación. Es una visión de la música industrial como enigma e invocación. Acompañando al escocés nos encontramos con una interesante lista de colaboraciones, como Caterina Barbieri, Kali Malone, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Maralie Armstrong-Rial, MSYLMA, Bashar Suleiman y Elvin Brandhi . Además, el disco cuenta con fotografías y diseños originales de la artista Caroline Schub.
