The true start of label Esplendor Geométrico/Geometrik Records was marked with the first releases of the Industrial Spanish pioneers ESPLENDOR GEOMETRICO. In 1985, Gabriel Riaza (E.G. founder member) and Andres Noarbe found Discos E.G., which first reference is the second Esplendor Geométrico album "Comisario de la Luz / Blanco de Fuerza.". Discos E.G. becomes thus the first Spanish label devoted exclusively to electronic music with international distribution. Between 1985 and 1989, now managed by Noarbe alone, the label releases 22 LPs (and 24 cassettes through the sublabel EGK). Some of those releases are of electronic underground Spanish artists of the period, and from other prestigious international artists as Conrad Schnitzler, Asmus Tietchens, De Fabriek, Polonio, Jorge Reyes, Macromassa, etc. From 1990 E.G: Records changes its name to Geometrik Records. Geometrik has published up to this moment most of Esplendor Geométrico records, including the re-releases in CD and vinyl format and their LPs of the eighties, apart from other selected artists (mostly Spanish) Thirty years since its founding, the story continues…
