Tercera entrega de la fantástica serie de selecciones Close to the Noise Floor del veterano sello británico Cherry Red. La primera estaba dedicada al Reino Unido, la segunda a Europa, y esta tercera a Estados Unidos. Una selección impecable , variada y realizada con muy buen gusto sin duda por un especialista en la materia pues se incluyen junto a artistas reconocidos, algunas joyas perdidas de grupos oscuros. 58 temas en cuatro CDs incluidos en un libro tamaño CD de tapas en cartón duro y que incluye 48 paginas con las fichas de cada artista-grupo con fotos y créditos. Se centra en estilos distintos dentro de la electrónica producida en EE.UU. entre 1975 y 1984, y encontramos desde música Industrial, synth pop, noise, ambient, ….
