Earcloud is a project managed by Alex Martin and Victor Sol. A.Martin was one of the most important values of Spanish techno electronic scene during the nineties, publishing in labels as F Comm, Klang Elektronic,etc. Victor Sol is a well-known German musician and producer who lived in BCN during the nineties, and works both alone and in projects as XJACKS or +N, altogether with prestigious German artists as Atom Heart or Dandy Jack. Most of his records have been published in the famous electronic label Fax. “The World Before” is the second compact of EARCLOUD, after the first released by the german label Hypnotism. The quality and textures of the electronic sounds, mostly from analogical synths sets this work out of standard techno patterns. “The W.B.” is a refined work of rhytmic electronics, that includes pieces suitable for dancing or listening attentively. The eighteen tracks follow as a sequence of diverse images, evocative and suggestive synthetic musical landscapes. The disc includes some reconstructed Solphax (Victor Sol) tracks, from the first album of +N “Ex.es” and has the colaboration of XJACKS, Charles Gate and Atom Heart.
