Mecánica records presenta una selección exquisita y meticulosa de bandas underground de "tecno-pop" que surgieron durante los años 80 en los Estados Unidos. Cada uno de estos grupos o artistas se consideran de culto, aunque varios  solo editaron un EP  ,una demo o simplemente aparecieron en compilaciones. Un total de dieciséis canciones de ocho bandas.
