Muchos esperaban algún tipo de versión en vinilo de la extraordinaria serie, por la calidad de la selección, Close to the Noise Floor: colección de tres volúmenes (por el momento) con cuatro compactos cada uno y amplios textos y fotos en formato CD-LIBRO dedicados a la musica electrónica desarrollada entre finales de los setenta y los primeros ochenta en UK, Europa, y EE.UU. Y por fin aparece este triple vinilo (LPs) donde se seleccionan 32 temas extraidos de los volúmenes. Subtitulado como “excursions in proto-synth pop, diy techno and futuristic exploration” , tienen la virtud de no recuperar los temas de siempre, metiendo rarezas e incluso inéditos.
