La serie “John Cage Shock” incluye 3 compactos y un doble vinilo. Se trata de grabaciones históricas e inéditas que aparecen como un tributo a John Cage en su centenario y al 50 aniversario de su primer tour por Japón. Ediciones japonesas lujosas con fotos exclusivas y textos en inglés. En octubre de 1962 John Cage y David Tudor visitaron Japón y realizaron 7 conciertos en distintas ciudades mostrando su trabajo. Algunos notables músicos japoneses colaboraron interpretando sus temas. VOL.1: tres obras interpretadas por John Cage, Toru Takemitsu, David Tudor, Christian Wolff , Kenji Kobayashi y Yuji Takahasi. VOL 2: Dos obras de Stockhausen y John Cage interpretadas por David Tudor (piano), Toshi Ichiyanagi (piano), Kobayashi (violín), y Yoko Ono (voz). VOL.3: Tres obras de Cage, Michael von Biel, y Toshi Ichiyanagi. Interpretan el propio John Cage, David Tudor y Toshi Ichiyanagi. El doble LP incluye una selección entre todos los temas de los tres CDs y además incluye uno extra exclusivo.
